100k for 100 logoThanks to a $100,000 grant from the Cummings Foundation, behavioral health services will be more accessible to those most in need in the Greater Lynn Community.  Lynn Community Health Center has been awarded the grant through the Foundation’s “$100K for 100” initiative, supporting eastern Middlesex, southern Essex, and Suffolk counties in Massachusetts.

Lynn Community Health Center has a well-established behavioral health department, but the need for services has outstripped our capacity.  The health center recently leased space at its 20 Central Avenue location to expand the department, anticipating that we will be able to serve an additional 950 patients by 2016.  The Cummings Foundation Grant will support ramp-up and capacity building until we reach a full caseload.
