Andrea Gaulzetti, RN, Chief of Clinical Operations, has provided stellar leadership and inspiration during her 16 years at Lynn Community Health Center. She has led many of health center’s major initiatives over the years, including integrated care, Patient Centered Medical Home, and providing culturally competent care.
Passionate about the role of nursing in patient care, Andrea has built a comprehensive nursing program here at Lynn Community Health Center. In the past two decades, the number of nurses has grown from four to over fifty. As the profession of nursing has changed over the years, she has provided leadership to her team, helping them implement the many new ways that nurses are involved in care. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, quality care, and never loses sight of the nurse’s role as a patient’s best advocate.
She is also a charismatic role model and mentor. Many of the nurses at Lynn Community Health Center began their careers here as receptionists or clinical assistants, only to be inspired by Andrea to get their nursing degrees.
On June 6, 2014, Andrea was recognized by the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers as “CHC Employee of the Year.” Congratulations Andrea!
