New Graduate Nursing Residency Program

Lynn Community Health Center’s partnership with the Iowa Online Nurse Residency Program allows new graduate nurses to participate in online learning modules, virtual discussions, and a residency project at the end that will directly affect patient outcomes. This innovative program is designed to assist students with transitioning from the academic setting to your newfound role as a registered nurse.

Research has shown that new graduate nurses participating in nurse residency programs during their first year as registered nurses experience an increase in confidence, a decrease in stress, and a quicker transition from novice to competent nurse, all of which leads to increased professional satisfaction.
