A Program for Pregnant, Postpartum, and Parenting Women at Lynn Community Health Center
Moms Do Care is a statewide DPH administered program that focuses on caring for pregnant and parenting women with substance use disorder. We provide peer support services, prenatal care, addiction treatment, pediatric care, therapy and psychiatric treatment to pregnant and parenting women with substance use disorder. Our care is trauma informed, whole person, and comprehensive. Our goal is to nurture healthy families and enhance our participants’ autonomy.
In the Moms Do Care program, we provide prenatal care, primary care, and pediatric care that is fully integrated with substance use and behavioral health treatment. Moms Do Care staff include people with lived experience who are in recovery, and people who have been specially trained to work with women who have substance use disorders.
We will help you every step of the way as you make important life choices for yourself and your baby. After your baby is born and in the early phases of childhood, we will support you to help you and your baby/child stay healthy. We also work with other groups to make sure you and your baby/child get the best care possible. Your services are planned around YOU!
When you sign up for the program, you will complete an interview to determine your eligibility and your needs. Our team will work with you to create a personalized service plan, meeting you where you are and respecting the strength you bring to your life and family.
