“Art for Character” is a collaborative project between The Ford Elementary School and Lynn Community Health Center.  17 students worked together throughout the fall to design and create a mural that will be displayed at the school.  The group members identified friendship, adventure, bravery, and kindness as ideas to be valued.  Through exploration of mixed medias, graphic novels, and dialogue the idea of a magical kingdom was created.  “We believe the artwork speaks to the strength of these students, the community they are being raised in, and the positive influence they can make,” said leaders Brittany Hockman, Ford School Social Worker and Lindesy Feinswog, LCHC School Based Clinician.

The mural was revealed at a ceremony on January 30 that included a video of the process.
