The state and local leaders joined Senator Markey today at the Lynn Public Library to highlight the need for the federal program, which provides funding for connectivity for 23 million households, including 366,000 households in Massachusetts. The ACP is a $14.2 billion program established by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law in 2021 and managed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to ensure that every household in the United States can afford Internet access...

LYNN — Local community members and health-care providers gathered at North Shore Community College on Tuesday to voice their concerns about maternal health care in the region.... Several local health-care leaders spoke at the event, including caregivers from Lynn Community Health Center like Physician Assistant Nicole McKenzie, who said that the lack of specialized maternal care in the area has forced many in Lynn to seek care in emergency rooms and urgent-care centers like LCHC.
